World-class education and research for the arts, media and cultural industries
The School of Arts is a vibrant school with an expanding focus on the study and development of the arts, media and cultural enterprise.
We have extensive links with those working in these sectors, in England and abroad, through our extensive alumni network, our world-class reputation and our vast list of industry-based guest speakers and visiting professors.
Graduate employment rates are consistently high across the School and we help shape thinking and practice at many levels in these professions.
The School has an expanding programme of research, with an outstanding record in Music
and Cultural Policy and Management, rated 5* and 5 respectively in the most recent Research Assessment Exercise.
City University London is one of the largest providers of open-access education in London, with around 5,000 students on short evening and weekend courses every year.
