99% of students are satisfied or very satisfied with their History courses at the University of Huddersfield - the highest score for any University History department in the National Student Satisfaction Survey, and one which follows on excellent performances in all previous official surveys.
Dr Pat Cullum, Head of History said, “The result is very pleasing and is testimony to the hard work History staff put into giving students a stimulating programme of study in a supportive atmosphere”.
The result means that History at Huddersfield has been in the top four of the satisfaction survey in three out of the last four years and is almost certainly the most consistent top performer in achieving the highest levels of student satisfaction. Sharon Mann, who has just graduated with a First said, “As a History student at the University of Huddersfield I was made extremely welcome. All the staff were approachable and willing to help out with any problems that occurred. I made some very close friends there and they all enjoyed their time at Huddersfield. I would recommend the University of Huddersfield as a brilliant place to any student considering studying history.”
