Welcome to the School of Geography Web Site

The School of Geography at the University of Southampton is a lively community of around 500 undergraduate and postgraduate students and around 50 staff, striving for excellence in geographical research and teaching.

These pages introduce you to our staff, resources, research, teaching and enterprise activities. Whether you are viewing the site as a potential or current student, researcher or visitor, we hope that you will find all the key information that you require.

The School can provide access to specialists in a wide range of geographic disciplines and access to specialised technical equipment and processing facilities.  We have well established associations with businesses but we are keen to extend these links to a wider range of commercial, industrial sectors and agencies.
