Welcome to Mathematics

The School of Mathematics at UEA is a flourishing department committed to excellence in teaching and research.

The School has a strong international reputation for its research and students are taught by leading experts in a broad range of topics in Mathematics.  An external inspection of teaching quality by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education awarded the School 23 points out of a maximum possible of 24, making it one of the highest-rated departments in the country.  The School was one of the top 10 Mathematics departments for overall student satisfaction in the 2007 National Student Survey.
