Open Days

cafe terazzo, jubilee campus

Our Open Days offer an opportunity to learn more about the Institute and the University, meet  members of academic and research staff and find out more about the course(s) you are interested in.

The Days start with an overview of the Institute's teaching programmes and research activities. An informal buffet lunch follows, where you will be able to meet current students and staff.  Group discussions are scheduled for the afternoon as well as a tour of Jubilee Campus and its facilities.

The next University Open Day is on 7th November 2007.  Please click here for more information and to book a place.

The next I-WHO Open Days are on 28th March 2008, 2nd May 2008 and 4th July 2008.  Further details will be posted on this page at a later date.

The I-WHO Open Days take place on Jubilee Campus and are open to anyone interested in joining one of our taught programmes, whether or not an application has already been submitted.  Booking a place is essential.  If you would like to come, please email  Dr Heather Buchanan with the following information:

  • your name
  • number of people in party
  • course(s) of interest
  • date of Open Day you wish to attend

Directions to Jubilee Campus and a printable map are available at:  www.nottingham.ac.uk/about/campuses/maps.php

In addition to the Open Day programme course directors are always willing to answer course-related queries either by email or telephone and, where possible, to meet individually with anyone unable to attend on one of the programmed Days.. Please see course list for contact details.

If you are unable to visit in person but would like a general view of life at Nottingham, we have a free DVD introducing the University, which we would be happy to send out to you.  Please email your details to:  I-WHO@nottingham.ac.uk.
