Research in the Department of Economics
These pages provide information on the current staff members of the Department of Economics and Related Studies (DERS) at the University of York; their research and supervision interests; and a representative sample of some of their recent research output. We have presented this information on an individual basis which underplays the extent of the collaborative work that takes place between staff members - closer investigation will reveal much joint work listed as does the discussion of the research centres housed within and affiliated to the department. Ours is a large and friendly Department and we welcome new staff, students and visitors.
In the most recent Research Assessment Exercise, the Department achieved a score of 5A.
