Nursing is a rapidly developing profession. Exciting advances in health care practice are opening up new employment opportunities and nurse education has been radically reformed in response to the projected changes in healthcare.
Qualification as a first level nurse is only the first step. There are many opportunities available for further qualifications in specialist areas, like health visiting, community nursing or care of the elderly.
The Welsh Institute of Chiropractic is the only university-based centre for training chiropractors in the UK. As well as clinical training for students, the Institute undertakes research projects and offers chiropractic treatment to members of the public, giving students clinical experience and providing patients with comprehensive care.
