Research interests in the Department of Chemical Engineering cover a broad range of topics concerned with Chemical, Biochemical and Process Engineering. Our approach is generally fundamental with an emphasis on first principles. The Department is conscious of the broadening range of industries to which chemical engineering skills can be usefully applied, and is at the forefront of experimental and theoretical developments within the discipline.
