Department of Psychology

The department has an outstanding record of success in both teaching and research. According to national assessment we rank among the top-rated UK Psychology Departments for research (with an RAE rating of 5 on a scale of 1-5*). The Department also has full "1+3" and "+3" ESRC recognition status as an accredited training outlet.

The department's research is supported by state-of-the-art facilities, including an in-house playgroup, human electrophysiological recording facilities, health and clinical laboratories, and expertise in computational modeling. The department has excellent facilities for postgraduate students, including allocated office space, equipment and conference funding.
