This is a dynamic department, actively pursuing advanced research in many areas of chemical and biochemical engineering. The Department is internationally recognised for its contributions to research, many of which are achieved in partnership with industry and prestigious research organisations. The research laboratories are well-equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and instrumentation. Research in the Department covers a broad spectrum of topics, many of which are aiming at developing Sustainable Technologies, better health care and consumer products.
