Complexity Science Doctoral Training Centre

Complex Systems are well known across science & technology and now recognised as a key challenge in social sciences. Our new Centre is devoted to mathematically and statistically based research addressing real world applications in this area. Research themes include Agent-based modelling, Networks and Emergence, Self-Organisation and Assembly, Dynamics, Spatio-temporal Complexity, and Managing & Quantifying Complexity.

We offer research students an integrated four year training combining PhD with supporting taught courses and a strong element of transferable skills. Studentship details will be shown here shortly. Students should have mathematical and practical motivation, and anticipate a good degree in a mathematically based subject.
