Faculty of Computing Sciences and Engineering

With over 170 academic staff, 85 support staff, and around 3500 students (including approximately 300 postgraduate students), Computing Sciences and Engineering is one of the largest foci of advanced technology in European Universities. The Faculty has a long record of excellence in teaching across its wide range of courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, several of which have links with major employers including the BBC and Confetti Studios. Computing Sciences and Engineering has many groups engaged in high-class, leading edge research. These groups are spread across the broad spectrum of technologies embraced by the faculty. The income generation activities give business and industry access to our expertise.
