Individuals with a combination of business knowledge and technological expertise are increasingly in demand for their ability to respond quickly to the changing demands of the market place. Manchester Science Enterprise Centre’s facilities and programmes are designed to equip people for these roles, either as entrepreneurs or as employees, by stimulating the concept of enterprise and innovation. MSEC offer postgraduate courses and undergraduate units designed to enhance students’ subject knowledge with business theory and practical skills. Through studying enterprise, students are encouraged to apply their specialist knowledge to identify opportunities and so maximise their impact in their chosen career or even start their own businesses.
