School of Psychology

The School of Psychology has enjoyed continuous growth since it was founded. Our teaching is informed by our internationally rated research (2001 RAE 5) and is accredited by the British Psychological Society where appropriate. Three of our MSc programmes, in Economic and Consumer Psychology, Psychological Research Methods, and Social and Organisational Psychology, are recognised by the ESRC as providing the research training foundation for ‘1+3’ programmes. The School places great emphasis on the international dimension of its activities. Members of staff have strong research links with universities in other countries and we have a flourishing international community within the School, with student exchanges supported by the Erasmus Scheme.
