School of Psychology

The School of Psychology is one of the largest psychology departments in the United Kingdom. The School was placed in the top rank (Grade 5*) of psychology departments in the last national assessment of research quality by the UFC. The School is currently devoted to staff rooms, workshops, teaching laboratories, lecture rooms, computer suites, and accommodation for research students. Research is conducted in specialised facilities. The School of Psychology has recently been refurbished to provide an ideal environment for both teaching and research. This includes a new post-graduate office area and a recently built two-floor extension to the main building housing research laboratories and undergraduate computing facilities.
