The EECE Department's Human Interface Technologies Team was formed in 2003 and brings together multidisciplinary researchers who focus on human-centred research issues related to future interactive technologies, including task and usability analysis, human factors integration, ergonomics and the design and evaluation of advanced interfaces. Specific research areas include "serious gaming" and virtual environments, augmented reality, wearable computers and defence human factors.
