The Department of Geography, King’s College London offers Departmental Bursaries valued at £1,000 for UK/EU and £2,000 for overseas scholars. These prestigious awards are made on a competitive basis for the support of students without existing studentship support applying for full-time taught postgraduate programmes offered in the Department of Geography. All applications received by 31 May are automatically entered into the competition, with no additional paperwork required from the applicant. Awardees are notified by the end of June.

The MSc in Environmental, Monitoring, Modelling and Management provides advanced-level training in environmental simulation modelling, Earth observation/remote sensing and geographic information systems (GIS), and in the research methods required to use these tools to effectively investigate the causes and consequences of environmental, climatic and land use change. NERC studentship funding is available to support well-qualified applicants. Applicants can be either those with existing experience in environmental or geographical science or those wishing to change direction from other disciplines. We particularly encourage applicants from a science-based subjects or from computing backgrounds.
