Drama Department

Bristol’s Drama department was the first at a British University dedicated to the study of Drama in performance and the first to introduce the practical and theoretical study of film and television. With successful alumni and the highest research rating in the UK, it continues to be a leader in the field.

Resources include the Wickham Theatre, the Brandt Cinema and video viewing complex, broadcast-standard film and video making equipment and the internationally recognised Theatre Collection archive and reference library.
