Having seen the MRes in Regenerative Medicine programme advertised on the University WebPages, the programme appealed to Wentao Xu for a number of reasons, including: the interdisciplinary nature of the degree, which is run through the Bath Centre for Regenerative Medicine; the international scientists involved with the programme; the state of the art facilities available; the flexibility offered in terms of the taught elements of the degree. Wentao Xu saw that the cross-disciplinary nature of the programme would enable him to study courses from across several departments, covering a broad spectrum of research areas, and thus expanding his knowledge and understanding of Regenerative Medicine through a range of different perspectives. After applying for a place on the MRes in Regenerative medicine programme, Wentao Xu was awarded a University of Bath International Scholarship.
