Whether you are thinking about a Masters in the area of Conservation, Contaminated Land, Environmental Informatics, Environmental and Biological Toxicology, Environmental Science and Technology or Environmental Consultancy among others or PhD study in Biological, Environmental or Geographical Sciences, we offer you the opportunity to visit the Lancaster Environment Centre at regular intervals throughout the year.

A typical open day includes:

Welcome lunch in the Lancaster Environment Centre and opportunity to talk informally to the Directors of Studies, admin staff and current students about the courses.

A short talk by the Director of Postgraduate Studies and from our Postgraduate Recruitment Officer who will discuss funding options (please note that options for funding decrease during the year).

Tour of the departments including labs, masters study room and demonstrations. Tour of the campus including accommodation (Graduate College), library, sports centre and other facilities.

Refreshments in the Lancaster Environment Centre and further discussions with the Directors of Studies.

Applicants attending our open days find them a very valuable experience and we encourage you to attend.
