Faculty of Medical and Human Sciences

Postgraduate training opportunities in the Faculty of Medical and Human Sciences span the clinical, biological and healthcare sciences, catering to a diverse set of career aspirations. We host over 30 professionally driven Masters courses and offer PhD research that equips graduates for careers in the academic, clinical, commercial or allied-health sectors. Training is geared towards broadening the employability and experience of postgraduates, with seminars in areas such as public engagement and project management running alongside cutting-edge scientific research methods and techniques. Extensive partnerships with regional NHS trusts and the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry further enhance our provision and future career options.
