The Faculty of Medical and Human Sciences is pioneering world-leading research into the translation of biomedical and health care to patients. Offering over 30 Masters courses spanning the biological and health sciences and boasting a PhD population of over 600 early-stage researchers our training environment is truly dynamic.
PhD students across the Faculty are based in a variety of settings ranging from the Manchester Interdisciplinary Biocentre, Manchester Cancer Research Centre or any of our networked NHS Trusts. All Masters courses are developed with the requirements of royal colleges and other professional bodies in mind to ensure that the skills developed are directly transferable to NHS or industrial settings.
