55 Funded PhD Studentships available at Scotland's Largest Modern University

University of the West of Scotland

Driven by an ambitious strategic research plan and building upon its 5 and 4 rated grades in RAE 2001, through targeted investment, the University is to award 55 full-time studentships in areas where further improved research performance is projected:

The PhD Studentship Scheme is open to UK/EU candidates with a first degree in a relevant discipline. It will offer the following benefits:

• Exemption from the payment of annual fees (UK/EU rate)

• £6000 annual stipend

International candidates can apply for entry to any of the 55 research projects on a full-fee paying basis.
