Barts and the London School of Medicine & Dentistry

At the Charterhouse Square site, research efforts are focussed on cancer, cardiology, clinical pharmacology, inflammation, endocrinology epidemiology & psychiatry. At Whitechapel, the spectacular new Institute of Cell and Molecular Sciences building contains researchers working on infectious diseases, stem cells, dermatology, gastroenterology, haematology, diabetes, neuroscience & surgery.

Staff are a mixture of clinicians & scientists. We consider that research issues important to human health can only be achieved by an equal partnership between these differently trained groups of individuals. At the same time we strive to provide an environment where young researchers can advance their careers with support & mentoring.
