Faculty of Medicine and Health

The Faculty of Medicine and Health is committed to world-class research that makes a significant impact internationally and supports the needs of the local and national health economy. Research activity in the Faculty takes place within seven Institutes/Schools: Leeds Institute of Genetics, Health and Therapeutics, Leeds Institute of Health Sciences, Leeds Institute of Molecular Medicine, Institute of Psychological Sciences, Leeds Dental Institute, School of Medicine and School of Healthcare. The Faculty Graduate School provides a high level of support and training to the approximately 400 students studying for their research degrees on a full time or part-time basis within the Faculty.
