Advances in high-throughput biotechnology are placing ever increasing demands upon the field and generating an urgent need for well-qualified statistical geneticists. Graduates of the course have knowledge and keys skills in the application of statistical methods to the fields of genetic epidemiology and statistical genetics. The programme places a significant emphasis on research methodology

We have five MRC studentships (stipend of £12,300 plus fees) to be awarded for September 2008 entry.
