The MSc in Operational Research and Applied Statistics at the University of Salford aims to produce confident analysts who are able to develop valid statistical and operational solutions to decision problems. The program has been developed by Salford’s internationally recognized Centre for Operational Research and Applied Statistics, which was graded 5A in the most recent UK research assessment exercise. The program will provide you with the detailed knowledge of operational research and applied statistics necessary for a wide range of interesting career opportunities. We have a number of EPSRC funded studentships available for qualified UK and EU students.

To qualify you must have:
• A first or upper second class degree in a relevant numerate subject, or a comparable qualification from a UK or overseas institution;
• EU students must provide evidence of proficiency in English, IELTS at least 6.5 or TOEFL score at least 575 (232 computer based).
