Department of Physics
University of Warwick
The Centre for Fusion, Space and Astrophysics (CFSA) invites applications for three PhD studentships in fusion plasma physics. Full funding can be offered to applicants who are nationals of European Union countries as well as the United Kingdom. The duration of the studentships is 3.5 years, and the start date is negotiable.
The CFSA has a broad portfolio of joint research projects with the UK magnetic confinement fusion programme at Culham, Oxfordshire, and with UK laser-plasma facilities and the high energy density plasma physics community. We also have strong collaborations with leading fusion research centres elsewhere in Europe and overseas.
