Graduate School

The School is the focus of generic, inter-disciplinary research training for our postgraduate community. We train students and staff from around the University at all stages of their work and study. Many students take training modules as part of their PhD programmes, while others engage with training to help with ongoing research projects, or to assist in deciding if the PhD is for them or not. Training programmes are managed and led by Dr Judi Sture supported by a team of tutors and colleagues from the University. As part of our provision, we support students in running a Graduate Research Conference each year, at which students from other universities join in sharing their PhD and other research before a student/supervisor audience.
