The University of Bolton’s Centre for Materials Research and Innovation (CMRI) is offering an innovative M.Sc degree in Medical & Healthcare Devices suitable for new graduates, practicing community, hospital and medical staff, and those working in the healthcare and allied medical device professions. The course modules involve core components of medical technology (including critical engineering and scientific disciplines), the infrastructure of the medical devices industry, relevant aspects of research training, ethics and innovation. Some of the areas studied include product regulations, human physiology and biotechnology, biomedical device design, development and production, intelligent bioengineering systems, and innovative IP management.

Flexibility
The course is flexible, over 12 months full-time or 36 months part-time with modules delivered intensively to improve concentrated learning and minimise disruption to work activities.
Short Course Route - each module is delivered as a short course lasting no more than five days.
The research project can be conducted at your workplace.
Awards
Postgraduate Diploma in Medical & Healthcare Devices – Accumulation of 120 credits.
M.Sc degree in Medical & Healthcare Devices – Accumulation of 180 credits.
