This unique 18-month, part-time, multidisciplinary, distance learning course is for nurses and AHPs who
want to develop specialist roles in rheumatology.
Designed to meet KSF, the course consists of six, level 3 modules promoting effective, patient-centred, evidence-based practice.
All modules are delivered through reinforced work-based, distance learning, with 2–3 day intense study blocks at specialist rheumatology teaching centres throughout England.
The course suits any nurse or AHP working in musculoskeletal triage services and would also be appropriate for community/primary care practitioners extending their workload in Rheumatology.
Courses start in October.
Modules can be studied individually for CPD. Accreditation of Prior Learning is available.
