MA in Digital Media (subject to validation, September 2008)

Media and Journalism

University of Huddersfield

The MA in Digital Journalism offers the opportunity to study, at an advanced level, a range of key issues and skills relevant to the dynamic and challenging world of contemporary journalism. The course combines modules which focus on theoretical and methodological debates with practical modules designed to introduce, develop and enhance your journalistic skills in the fast-changing digital era. The MA offers a rigorous introduction to doctoral and other post-graduate study, as well as an excellent opportunity for media professionals to update and further their knowledge of the media and journalism industries.
The Department of Media and Journalism at the University of Huddersfield has a well established and successful track record for undergraduate study and is very well placed to offer a dynamic and supportive environment in which to study at postgraduate level. As part of the School of Music, Humanities and Media, you will benefit from, and be able to contribute to, a vibrant and expanding research community.
We are offering a number of bursaries worth £2,000 in remission of fees for our new MA programme in Digital Journalism. To apply you must have already been offered a place on the course (more details about the course and how to apply may be found at http://www.hud.ac.uk/mh/media/courses/ma-digital-journalism.php)
