8 x EPSRC EngD Studentships in Urban Sustainability & Resilience

A total of 8 EPSRC EngD Studentships are available in the department. The UCL EngD in Urban Sustainability and Resilience is a 4-year doctorate which will give you the best of both worlds - applying top level academic rigour to real on-the-ground industrial research.

Around 40% or more of your time will be spent working on-site with a company. Together, and with guidance from UCL's renowned academics, you will develop a research project addressing the real-life challenges faced by industry.

You will receive a generous annual tax-free stipend of £17,750 per year.

For a place on the EngD programme funded through EPSRC awards, applicants must meet the EPSRC eligibility requirements. EngD Funding is available for applicants who have been working residents in the UK for at least three years prior to the proposed commencement of the programme: http://www.epsrc.ac.uk/PostgraduateTraining/StudentEligibility.htm

Applicants must have at least a 2.1 degree in an Engineering discipline or an MSc or MA in a related subject.
