A total of 8 EPSRC EngD Studentships are available in the department. The UCL EngD in Urban Sustainability and Resilience is a 4-year doctorate which will give you the best of both worlds - applying top level academic rigour to real on-the-ground industrial research.
Around 40% or more of your time will be spent working on-site with a company. Together, and with guidance from UCL's renowned academics, you will develop a research project addressing the real-life challenges faced by industry.
You will receive a generous annual tax-free stipend of £17,750 per year.
For a place on the EngD programme funded through EPSRC awards, applicants must meet the EPSRC eligibility requirements. Applicants must have at least a 2.1 degree in an Engineering discipline or an MSc or MA in a related subject.
