Wolfson Centre for Age-Related Diseases

Institution: King's College London

The Decade of the Brain – the 1990s – saw tremendous advances in our understanding of the molecules and principles that govern the development of the central and peripheral nervous system, to the functioning of neurons at the synaptic level.

Following a generous donation from the Wolfson Foundation, we have been able to open a new state of the art research facility and bring together over 25 research groups to form the Wolfson Centre for Age-Related Diseases.
