
Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851
Industrial Fellowships are offered each year for selected graduates, working in British Industry, who have a good first degree in engineering, science or medicine.
Candidates must:
1. be British nationals, resident in the UK and employed by a British company.
2. have a good first degree in an appropriate discipline.
3. have identified research and/or development topic, leading to a patent, product or process specification within the timescale of the award and possibly in conjunction with a higher academic award.
4. have established a link with appropriate staff at a British University.
5. normally be within two years from graduation. Older candidates may apply but it is unlikely that those already with substantial post-graduate qualification will be accepted.
6. be willing to travel
On successful completion of the project, the University will receive an honorarium of £10,000
