The criteria for the trust are: 1. The relief of poverty among employees (including former employees) of Banks and their dependants. 2. The advancement of education of employees or dependents who, without assistance from the fund, might have difficulty in completing their education. It is the trustees general policy to only donate money to people in Higher Education, and preference is given to employees and former employees of Barclays Bank plc.
