Bank of England
The Bank offers postgraduate internships and sponsorship to students intending to undertake postgraduate study in economics and/or finance before joining the Bank. Students who are successful during the selection process will be offered full sponsorship of their MSc/MPhil fees (or 1 year of a 2 year course) and a 6-8 week internship during the summer (after graduation) for which they will be paid £85 a day. Postgraduate job offers to join the Bank (after completion of postgraduate studies) will be made to outstanding performers at the end of the summer, accompanied by the payment of living expenses (£11,250 for 2007). This scheme is subject to a number of conditions which will be made clear when a sponsorship offer is made.
