Department of Electronic Engineering

The world of Electronic Engineering offers a challenging, creative, and well-paid career. There is a shortage of highly-qualified graduates and young engineers, leading to salary levels that are among the top compared with all other professions.

The Department is unique among universities in the UK in putting particular emphasis on these aspects of the subject, with programmes at MEng and MSc level in Internet Computing and e-Commerce Engineering. With the addition of new MSc programmes in Signal Processing, Multimedia and Wireless Networks, the Department now offers a suite of programmes providing a subtly different emphasis on levels in the value chain.
