'Do it Yourself' or 'We Do it For You'

Our aim is to give you as much control over the advertising process as possible, so you can purchase and create most of our text advertisements online yourself, as soon as you have registered. If you'd rather we did it all for you, we can do that too, for a small extra charge of just £5 per text ad (and we dont even charge that when you buy a 20- or 50-pack). Contact us for details. Free Departmental Description

You can register your Department for free and add a brief general overview of the postgraduate provision in your Department. If you have specific funding or study opportunities, you can then advertise them for just £45 for a single advert, and we offer discounts if you have more to list (see below). When you register your Department, we'll add a link on your Departmental page to the general funding that could apply for study in the subjects you select - this link will be displayed under the links to your own advertisements, as an additional source of information for students who want to study with you. Featured Departments

You can add a Long Department profile, which shows on both PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk and MastersCompare.co.uk (as long as you have course listings on MastersCompare.co.uk) lasts for a year and includes an extra image, in addition to your logo, for just £300 for 12 months. It allows you to expand on the environment, facilities, teaching and support you offer to postgraduates and display an additional image as well as your logo. You can describe the types of funding typically available from your Department in general terms, but please note that the Profile cannot be used to advertise specific opportunities, as these are advertised separately. You can use up to 5,000 characters (including spaces).

Masters, PhD/Research and Professional Doctorate ads - funded or unfunded

Our Basic Advert Tokens can be bought either singly or in discounted multi-packs which can be used immediately or over time - up to a year for 20- and 50-packs. You can use your advert tokens to create and publish your Masters or PhD/Research advert giving details of your funding or study opportunities - these ads then appear on our main PhD and Masters listing pages, as well as in the relevant subject browse sections for each ad. We also have an additional dedicated browse page for Professional Doctorate ads. Your text ads will also receive additional exposure to an extra audience via our live funding ad feed shown on The Student Room.

Each advertisement includes your main institutional logo which is displayed automatically on publication of your advert. We can add or swap extra logos on your ads for just £20 per logo, per advert.

These PhD and Masters text ads can be bought via single tokens at just £45, or in discounted packages of 5, 10, 20 or 50 tokens. You can then use the tokens to post your Masters, PhD and Professional Doctorate text ads using the simple step-by-step process on your My Account page. Feature your studentships and courses adverts on the home page

A popular and proven advert enhancement, this ensures your ad is retained on the home page of the site for a specified period - available on our standard PhD, Professional Doctorate and Masters level ads. Only £30 per week in addition to the avdert cost. Contact us to check availability. View some examples on the Home Page now.

Front Page Buttons
Front Page Buttons appear on several key pages of the site:
- in the right hand column of the home page (see example buttons down the right hand side of this page)
- on the main 'All subjects' page, and on the main 'All Subjects' PhD and Masters listing pages
- on general information pages for students, which have high viewing figures.
Front page buttons currently cost only £150 per month. Maximum 12 buttons at any one time, all showing on all relevant pages - only one 'layer' of buttons at any one time so you get maximum exposure. 120 x 60 pixels. Buttons rotate equally but randomly through the vertical positions.

Run of site top banners - top
Banners appear across the top of every page on the site - we have a maximum of 5 banners showing at any one time. 468x60 pixels, £300 per month. Great for institution wide promotions. See an example banner showing in position at the top of this page.

Run of site banner - left bar
Appears in the left hand column of all pages on the site: we have a maximum of 5 spaces available, ensuring prominence for advertisers choosing this space. £300 per month, 125 x 125 pixels. See an example banner showing on the left of this page, under the browse menu box.

NEW Top of PhD and Masters Browse pages buttons
Same size as the front page buttons, but appear (up to 5 across) at the top of ALL the PhD OR Masters Browse pages. £100 per month for the PhD Browse pages, £75 per month for the Masters Browse pages.

Subject Section Buttons
Separate buttons can now be booked individually in each of our main subject sections, showing on the chosen subject main browse page, and all browse pages within that section, down the right hand side, in the same position as Front Page buttons (see examples on the right hand side of this page). Maximum 10 ads, all of which show on all pages within the relevant subject section, rotating evenly but randomly through the vertical subject positions. 120 x 60 pixels.

NEW Videos and Featured Videos

We are delighted to tell you that you can now display your postgraduate related videos on both PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk and MastersCompare.co.uk. As long as your video is shown on YouTube, it's very easy to add it to PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk and MastersCompare.co.uk. The cost is £200 per year for the first video on your account, and £100 per video for each video thereafter in the same 12 month period. The video is a product of its own, with title and blurb, BUT in addition it offers great value as a single video not only shows on both sites, but can be associated with and/or embedded into your text ads on both sites, including text ads on PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk, Masters course listings on MastersCompare.co.uk (enhanced only), Long Department Profiles, Open Days, Student Profiles: all for just £200 per video for 12 months. You can even select which ads or profiles each video is associated with, giving you ultimate flexibility.

We have a single Featured Video slot on the home page of each site, £40 per week on the home page of PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk, only, or £50 per week on the home page of both sites together. Max period 4 weeks.

Student Profiles

Knowing how popular student profiles are on University websites and in prospectuses, we have included this option, so you can upload your student profiles, (image and text, plus logo), for just £40 each for a year, showing on both sites. Student Profiles have their own page on the site on both PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk and MastersCompare.co.uk, but also show automatically on your Department page, and on any live ads, or listings on MastersCompare.co.uk that you decide to attach them to. The Student Profile page on each site can be accessed from the left hand browse box, which shows on most pages of both websites.

Open Days

You can advertise your postgraduate fairs and open days on the site. You can buy tokens and create ads from your Account page in the same way as for a Basic Advertisement and your institutional logo is included. These ads show automatically on PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk, and also on MastersCompare.co.uk if your institution has course listings on the site. £40 per open day date, plus £25 per week to show on the home page of both sites.

Emails to Registered Students

Students aren't required to register to use either PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk or MastersCompare.co.uk - but lots of them do, signing up for email updates on study and funding opportunities. You can give an extra boost to your advert, and send an email to those students in specific subject areas and levels of study, to tell them about new funding, courses and forthcoming open days. Our emails go out as text only (handy when so many people access emails via smartphones) and cost 15p per email address. Please contact us for a quote and to discuss which group of students you want to email.
