Terms and Conditions for Funding Providers and Advertisers

Welcome to the Terms and Conditions for PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk. The services provided at http://www.postgraduatestudentships.co.uk are provided by PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk, located at 82 Prebend St, London N1 8PR. VAT Registration Number: 933 7699 76
From 1 November 2008, PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk has become a trading division of Online Resource Pages Ltd, Registered in England and Wales, Company No 6630198 Registered Office Address: 81 Essex Rd, London N1 2SF NB the VAT registration number remains as above.

The terms and conditions set out below apply to your use of our services at PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, you may not use our services. You must read, agree with and accept all these Terms and Conditions, and our Privacy Policy, and our Payment Terms and Conditions on our Prices pages, which form part of these Terms and Conditions, before using any of our services.

PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk accepts studentship postings through the purchase of advertising 'slots', and other advertising from both Funding Providers and other advertisers.

'Funding Providers' refers to all advertisers on the site that have specific or general postgraduate funding or study opportunities that can be advertised on the site.

The public area of PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk refers to the area of the site that is visible to all users of the site.

Publication of Advertisements
All advertisements, including all studentships will only be published on the public area of the site when the funding provider has been fully approved by PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk or by the registered organisational Administrator for the Provider's or Advertiser's organisation, if the organisation is already registered and approved on PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk.

All advertisements, including all studentships, will be published on the public area of the site for the duration of the advertisement agreed when the advertisement is booked on the site, which will be a maximum of 1 year. After this date they will be removed from the Public Area of the site. The publication date is deemed to be the date the advertisement is first published on the site, even if the advertisement is subsequently withdrawn for editing purposes and republished at a later date.

All advertisement slots bought on PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk remain valid for use for 6 months from the purchase date. Slots remaining unused after 6 months will be deleted from the purchasers account unless otherwise agreed with PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk at least 1 month before the full 6 months has elapsed. No refunds are given at any time for slots purchased as part of any advertising package which are not subsequently used by the Provider before they expire. Providers will be notified one month before any remaining slots are due to expire.

Providers may edit and resave published advertisements but may not make changes such that a different advert for a different funding or study opportunity is deemed to have been created, in the opinion of PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk. It is the responsibility of the Funding Provider to purchase new advertisement slots in these circumstances and/or to clarify with PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk whether a new advertisement slot is required, before editing takes place. PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk reserves the right to invoice Providers for any new advertisements that have been created in this way, and/or to suspend the advertisement in question.

Payment
All PostgraduateStudentsihps.co.uk invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing with PostgaduateStudentships.co.uk at the time when the advertisement is booked:
- The invoice date is the date of purchase of an advertisement package, and NOT the date when the advertisement is first published on the public side of the site.
- Please note however that advertisement packages are not deemed to be purchased until the Funding Provider is fully approved on the site.

If payment is not received by the due date, PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk reserves the right to remove the advertisement(s) in question from the public side of the site and to suspend the account, and if necessary all accounts registered with PostgraduateStudenthips.co.uk attached to the organisation in question, so that no new advertisements or postings of any kind can be made until such time as payment is received by PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk.

PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk reserves the right to require payment in advance from Providers and other Advertisers before any advertisement is published.

Information Provided by Funding Providers
All information given by advertisers on any part of the site, including advert content, must be accurate and up to date. It is the advertiser's responsibility to ensure that content is not misleading, inaccurate, and does not make false claims, or claims that could be construed as false or misleading about their own or any other organisation, or students that have attended their organisation. PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk does not accept liability for any actions taken or not taken by any site user as a result of Funding Provider information being incorrect on the site.

PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk reserves the right to withdraw without notice, advertisements of any type, or written contributions to any part of the public side of the site, by Funding Providers and other Advertisers, should any of the advertisements or contributions contravene any of the terms and conditions in this document, or should they be, in the opinion of PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk, inappropriate or offensive in such a way as to be likely to bring PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk into disrepute. In such circumstances, no refunds will be given.

PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk Services
We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to our services, and by using our website, you accept that we do not. We do not accept liability for any loss or damage to persons or property caused by the interruption of any part or all of our services.

PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk does not and cannot check or confirm the claimed identify of users or the accuracy or honesty of the information provided by users on our website. We do not control the information posted by other users, including students seeking funding, on our site, or that they make available to you as a result of using our website. We cannot guarantee its accuracy, content, character or tone.

Your general activities on our website
‘Your activities' includes any and every posting you make on PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk, whether directly related to an advertisement or other listing, or not. It also includes all information you may provide to us, or to any third party, including other users or the site, that is in any way related to activity in which you engage on our website. It also includes any activity you may engage in in any way related to your use of our website.

Your activities on our website must not:
a) Be false, inaccurate, misleading, dishonest or fraudulent
b) Be offensive, menacing, abusive, defamatory, obscene or indecent, or in breach of copyright, confidence, privacy or any other rights
c) Infringe any third party's copyright, patent, trademark or any other legal rights
d) Be in breach of any applicable laws
f) Create liability for us or cause us to lose (in whole or part) the services of our ISP or any other suppliers.
g) Link directly or indirectly to, or otherwise promote, mention, include or imply, descriptions of goods or services that are prohibited under these Terms and Conditions, or that you do not have a right to link to or include.
h) Contain or include in any way any computer-borne, -driven or related elements of any sort designed to disrupt the normal operations of any computer or website, or designed to remove, copy, or otherwise gain unauthorised access to the information contained on our website or on the computers of any other PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk user.
i) Cause any disruption of any sort to the normal functioning of our website, or any risk of disruption at any point in the future.

You allow PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk the perpetual, non-exclusive right to use or quote from any of the information or postings you provide us with through the use of our services, either elsewhere on our website or outside our website for any reasonable purpose including but not limited to, publicity and promotion, or defence in a court of law, other than as restricted under our Privacy Policy in any media known or currently unknown.

Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us and (as applicable) our subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, agents and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms and Conditions or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

Unless otherwise explicitly stated, notices to PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk must be sent by registered mail to PostgraduateStudentships.co.uk, 82 Prebend St, London N1 8PR. Notices to you will be sent to the email address you provide us with during the registration process (receipt is deemed 24 hours after an email is sent, unless notice is received that the email address is invalid), or by registered mail.
