MSc International Social Policy
University of Southampton
The MSc International Social Policy masters programme from University of Southampton considers social policy issues and debates in a broad international context, while giving students the choice and flexibility to specialise on the basis of pathways: Research Methods, Social Enterprise, Ageing Societies and Development.
The Social Enterprise pathway is a special feature of the programme and it offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in setting up and seeking funding for the establishment of a Social Enterprise and an internship with a local third sector organisation.
As part of the Social Sciences Division, you will be joining our multidisciplinary community, providing research and teaching programmes in subjects ranging from sociology, social policy, ageing and demography, through to economics and social statistics to name a few.
Our alumni work in a wide range of sectors related to the delivery and analysis of social policy, such as local and national government, including UK government’s statistical team, Office of National Statistics, UK Citizens Advice Bureau and academia.
