We have five campuses; Fusehill Street in Carlisle, our dedicated Arts campus at Brampton Road, also in Carlisle, and one campus each in the historic city of Lancaster, Ambleside in the Lake District National Park which in July 2017 was named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and London

With a proud history of teaching that dates back to the 1800s, many major colleges and institutes from across the region have since been drawn together and we are now celebrating our 10-year anniversary as the University of Cumbria. With more opportunities than ever before, there really has never been a better time to study with us as a postgraduate.

We offer a wide range of postgraduate programmes across our seven university departments. These include:

Our research has been referred to as ‘world-leading’ and ‘internationally excellent’, and many of our academics are actively involved in international research, so you can be sure that your teaching here at the University of Cumbria is right up to date to allow you to succeed in your career.

Open Days
We hold a number of open days each year at all five of our campuses especially for those interested in postgraduate study at Cumbria. You’ll have the opportunity to speak with tutors, current students and support teams to find out all you need to know while experiencing the friendly campus environment.
