Can engineering solve the world’s most pressing challenges? We think so.
If you care about water access, climate resilience, sustainable production, renewable energy or building infrastructure that lasts in resource-limited contexts, our Engineering for International Development MSc is designed for you.
Based at UCL, the 9th best university in the world* and 3rd globally for sustainability**, you’ll study in London, a leading global hub for international development organisations, engineering consultancies, and policy makers. This course builds more than just technical expertise – you'll develop adaptability, contextual intelligence, stakeholder engagement and critical thinking, the skills employers across development, humanitarian and sustainability sectors value most. Our graduates go on to work at top organisations such as Arup, the United Nations, the World Meteorological Organization, the European Commission, and Deutsche Bank.
Join us on Tuesday 28 April 2026, 5pm-6pm UK time, for an interactive virtual introduction to our Engineering for International Development MSc with Course
Director Prof Luiza Campos. Along with course alumni, she will talk through the course and its diverse curriculum, as well as research opportunities, application tips, and the career paths of our graduates. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions in a live Q&A.
