Postgraduate Virtual Open Days

Event date: 17 – 19 November 2026 - 09:00 to 17:00

Study at a university consistently ranked among the world's top 50 (QS World University Rankings 2027). Join our Postgraduate Virtual Open Days and take your first step into on-campus postgraduate study at the University of Edinburgh.

Our annual Virtual Open Days in November are the ideal opportunity to find out more about your postgraduate programme of interest during live webinar sessions.

Who is this event for?
We encourage anyone thinking about on-campus postgraduate taught programmes (Masters degrees / PG Diplomas and Certificates) as well as postgraduate research (PhD, MPhil, MScR, Professional Doctorates) to join.

What will it cover?
Sessions will cover our masters and PhD programmes, with opportunities to hear from - and live text chat with - the academic staff who teach them. You will also hear from our professional services and student support staff who will outline the support available to you as a student at Edinburgh.

Hear from current students
Our Virtual Open Days also feature live panel sessions where current students and recent graduates answer your questions and share their experiences of postgraduate study and life at Edinburgh.
