Masters Degree Description

This course is aimed at Podiatrists who wish to develop their foot and ankle assessment and diagnosis skills, via the use of appropriate imaging and a range of clinical tests.It will build upon your existing diagnosis skills through the use of diagnostic imaging and clinically relevant lab tests.

The course provides you with the opportunity to develop the competences required to demonstrate an understanding of the various approaches to imaging and evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of imaging techniques and their use in the evaluation of pathology.
You will demonstrate how to utilise imaging and other clinical investigations to aid diagnosis and inform surgical and musculoskeletal decision making and critically evaluate the validity of x-ray and other measurements in surgical practice.

Entry Requirements

Entry requirements for this course are normally:

You must be a registered Podiatrist with an appropriate governing body.
Possess an Honours degree. Individuals without Honours or with a Diploma in Podiatric Medicine will be considered on an individual basis by the admissions team.
If you trained overseas, you must be registered with an appropriate governing body.
