You will be planning, running and using research to produce evidence of what works on the ground. It could relate to an aspect of work within your own organisation or issues facing wider society.
Our innovative approach means you can tailor the MRes to one of seven different specialisms, and study either full-time or part-time. As you’ll complete the taught modules alongside others, you’ll have opportunities to share experiences, network and benefit from a cross-disciplinary perspective. The specialisms cover:
⦁ Business
⦁ Computing
⦁ Engineering
⦁ Policing and Criminal Justice
⦁ Psychology
⦁ Health and Care Studies
⦁ Clinical Research
You’ll choose a research question to investigate and will be supervised by internationally renowned academics in your subject area. Our team also bring industry expertise, including as clinicians, senior police officers, engineers and psychologists.
A 2:2 honours degree or equivalent or significant appropriate research experience.
All students have access to Careers, Placements & Employability, our dedicated careers team.
