MSc Football Performance

Relevant undergraduate sport science or related degree

• Applicants may be admitted to the course without an undergraduate degree provided they can demonstrate the necessary graduate-equivalent knowledge, abilities and skills.
• Applicants will be required to attend an interview.
• Applicants do not need to be currently working in a professional football environment, however this would be an advantage.

A career in football can be incredibly rewarding and it's a booming industry – revenue in the European football industry in 2022/23 grew by 16% to €35m (Deloitte, 2024). The game is fast moving and growing.

A number of football clubs, including Southampton FC, Reading FC, Swindon Town FC and Eastleigh FC have carried out player testing using our industry-standard facilities. Individual male and female players from the Premier League, through to the national leagues have used our facilities for individual testing, rehabilitation and performance programmes.
