Masters Degree Description

Completing this course will partly fulfil the vocational stage of your training to qualify as a solicitor. Recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, it meets the authority's training requirements and covers a range of legal subjects prescribed by the professional body.

As part of this course, you’ll:

  • Focus on realistic case studies and take part in workshops that explore the challenges of professional practice
  • Be taught by a team of academic staff who are qualified lawyers with wide-ranging professional experience that will feed into your learning 
  • Be supported by staff through a variety of option modules as you start to explore areas of interest

Designed to be as flexible as possible, this course is offered via online distance learning. You’ll be able to access our live LPC workshops anywhere in the world using Microsoft Teams.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should either have at least a second class honours Qualifying Law Degree or a Graduate Diploma in Law. Applicants are required to provide a letter from their awarding institution to confirm they hold a qualifying Law degree.

Student Destinations

If you complete the LPC youll be able to proceed to the next stage of legal training as a solicitor by way of a training contract. The LPC provides credit points at masters level. You can enhance future employability by completing a top-up dissertation with a view to being awarded a masters in Law.
