Applicants should hold at least 2:2 degree
Participants on the in-house programme will normally be employed by the University of Lancashire or in an associated Higher Education Institution or college of Further Education
Applicants will have demonstrated ability to cope with Master’s level study either through Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning or previous qualifications
Access to the programme will be open to new participants with previous appropriate Postgraduate Diploma or Postgraduate Certificates from other institutions but degree and extent of Recognition of Prior Learning or credits will be agreed on an individual case by case basis
Good command of written and spoken English this must be at a minimum entry requirement of GCSE grade C/4
Links with an educational institution for practitioner research and work based learning
Applicants without a postgraduate certificate should have recommendation from line manager and either a first degree with related work experience or successful experience of level 3 final year study in last 5 years including related work experience
Non-standard applicants are welcome to apply with an extended CV and interview, and will be expected to undertake an entry assessment, which may be under exam level conditions to demonstrate suitability to study at Masters level
