Degree requirements
An ordinary degree, or international equivalent.
Degree must include:
80 SCQF credits in two or more of the areas listed below:
religious studies
philosophy
theology
divinity
sociology of religion
anthropology of religion
psychology of religion
Students wishing to teach Religious Education in Catholic schools must have a minimum of 80 SCQF credit points in:
Religious Studies
Theology
Divinity
This may include a maximum of 20 credit points in philosophy related to religion.
Maths & English
Higher (SCQF Level 6) English Grade C or above
National 5 (SCQF Level 5) Mathematics Grade C or above
Maths and English qualifications can be in progress at the time of application.
