Masters Degree Description

Our MSc Sport and Exercise Science is a hands-on, practitioner-focused course taught by world-leading researchers. It’s delivered in state-of-the-art laboratories.

Understand the science behind performance, while learning from leading experts on our Sport and Exercise Science MSc degree. The course gives you a deep understanding of the science behind sport and exercise and the skills to thrive in performance, health or fitness-focused roles.

You’ll explore key disciplines such as physiology, biomechanics, and sport psychology, learning how to apply them in real-world environments.

You’ll use advanced tools like 3D motion capture in our specialist laboratories. This will develop your skills in data collection and analysis to assess and improve athletic performance. You’ll also build your research abilities by working on practical projects and learning how to present your findings with confidence.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should hold a 2:2 degree or equivalent professional experience or learning in a related field such as biomechanics or sport and exercise physiology
Applications from all candidates will be considered on their merits in the light of the nature and scope of the programme
IELTS: Score of 6.0 with no component below 5.5
